The Pegasus Learn to Row Camps are a co-ed, 4-day camp where participants will learn or improve the sculling technique, experience different training methods, and review those elements necessary to be successful in the sport of rowing.

The program accommodates co-ed novices and just-starting rowers, 12 and up.  The staff focuses on teaching within a fun environment of learning geared to leave the student wanting to further pursue the sport.

Participants will be coached in the basics of equipment nomenclature, boat handling, safety protocols and elements of the stroke cycle. On the water instruction will begin as of the first day in sculling boats which promotes more rapid and thorough learning. Our USRowing certified coaching staff will evaluate and place participants in groups based on age, experience, and ability for the best experience.

Campers will experience both land and river!

** Participants are required to complete swimming and liability waivers (click here) as well as purchase $10 USRowing Learn to Row Camp – 60 day insurance (accessible here).
